Ingredients
- Bloody Mary Drink Mix
- 2 Ripe Tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Celery Salt
- 2 teaspoons Herbs de Provence
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 Shallot
- 1 Radish
- 1 tablespoon Horseradish
- .75 oz. Worcestershire
- 1.5 oz. Lemon Juice
- .75 oz. Habanero Hot Sauce
- Spirits
- 1.5 oz. to 2 oz. Spirit of Choice (Vodka for a Bloody Mary, Tequila for a Bloody Maria, or Gin for a Red Snapper)
- Optional Garnishments
- Carrots
- Capers
- Cucumber
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Celery Stalk
- Olives
- Lemon wheels
Instructions
- Take Lemon Juice, Worcestershire, and tomatoes and blend in a blender for 1 minute or until completely liquified.
- Pour liquid mixture into a pot, add rest of ingredients, and set to boil.
- Once brought to a boil turn off heat and immediately strain through a cheese cloth.
- The result should be a thin, clarified, and lightly bodied Bloody Mary base. Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Add 1.5 oz. to 2 oz. spirit of your choice (Vodka for a Bloody Mary, Tequila for a Bloody Maria, or Gin for a Red Snapper), and serve over ice.
- Garnish by rimming your glass first with run of your choice (sea salt, celery salt, spicy salt, etc …), then inserting carrots, capers, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, celery stalk, olives, and lemon wheels. Enjoy!
